Do you want to limit the options for your employees in PigVision, for example so that the farrowing barn uses one login that can only register data for sow section, as well as the climate barn that can only register data for growing pigs.

Then you need to create a new employee type.

You do this by opening PigVision and going to "General" - "Administration" - "Employee type".

As a starting point, the employee type "ADMIN" has been created, which has rights to everything. Below the column "User type", "Sow" is set as "Super user", which makes it possible to access finances in PigVision, fx. e-control. A "User" as "Pig" does not have the option to do this.

In the example below, 2 employee types "Sow" and "Pig" have been created. Here it is desired that "Sow" has access to see all data, but cannot register in the menu "Progeny".

This is set up as follows:

Click on "Sow section" and then the icon "Change permissions".

A window opens and below "Registrations" - "Permission" it is possible to set up the permissions for the menus.

Now "Sow" has rights to everything, except for "Pigs in growth" which is set to be read-only. Meaning the menu is available in PigVision, but the user cannot register.

Click "+" to open the menu for the rights. In the example, there are rights for everything below the menu "Ground" except for "Employee type" which is set to "None", which means that the user now cannot see the employee type in PigVision.

In "Menus" it is possible to click on "All" to the right so that all menus are available to the user.

For "Pigs" who are set as "User", it is desired that the user in question does not have access to finances.

In this connection, you can remove the check mark for fx. "Sows/Boars" and "Report". Then the user will now not see these menus in PigVision.

In "General entries", the menu is available, as the user must still have rights to "Vet visits". But the other submenus are not available.

When the permissions are set up correctly, close the windows and go to "General" - "Administration" - "Employee".

Click on the user that the employee type should be assigned to under "Type" - "Code". Then click on the "Search" icon and double-click on the employee type that should be assigned to the user.

Now the employee type is associated with the respective users.

Please note that you have been given 3 logins, where it is possible to create different employee types on all 3.

If you want more users, please contact AgroVision on support-dk@agrovision.com.
