If you use more medicaments in a procedure as e.g. when castrating, you have the possibility of the connection of up to three journals in one, to make a much quicker registration. Go to "General" - "Medicine/vaccination" - "Journals".

Click on "Layout setup" and then "Edit global".

It is possible to link up to three journals. In this example, two journals are linked: "4604 - Castration anaesthesia" and ""4620 - Pain relief". Scroll to the bottom of the list and untick "Journal2" - "Code" and click "Ok".

To get a much quicker overview of the journals for suckling piglets: click in the filter line in the column "Pig type" - "Name" and write "suckling piglets" and press enter.

Note: When you decide on which  journal to link other journals, it is important to choose a journal that isn't used in other work flows. If you have a journal where only a percentage of the pigs are treated, it is important that it is only linked with journals that have this same setting. To set this up, go to: "Only a percentage of piglets in a litter should be treated "

On the main journal, in this case "4604 - Castration anaesthesia", and put in the other journal code in the column "Journal2" - "Code".

You'll get a message asking if you want to save the journals. Click "Yes"

Now the journals are linked, which means that every time you registrate a treatment with journal "4604", you'll also have a registration with journal "4620".
