It is possible to calculate an analysis of the key figure weight from slaughter data based on different criteria.
Go to "Analysis progeny" – "Distribution key figures".
A similar window with the analysis opens:
After selecting the different criteria on the left side, you can calculate the graph by pressing "Calculate" in the window.
In the analysis window, you can also see three icons. The names of the icons can be seen by hovering over every one of the icons.
By pressing on the icon "Graph setup", you can decide how the setup for the graph should be. For example, you can choose which colour the different genders have on the graph. Finish by pressing "Ok".
By pressing the "Print" icon, you can print the graph.
You can also save a clip of the graph by selecting the "Copy to clipboard" icon and thereby paste the graph directly into a word document or other documents.
Start the analysis by selecting "Weight" as key figure:
On the left side of the analysis window, you can now choose which criteria your data should be calculated from:
Select the period of which you would like to see the weight in the dropdown menu. If you choose the period to be "None", you can decide your start and end dates yourself.
Select the locations or batches from which you want the weight to be calculated:
In addition, you can choose how you want the distribution curve to be divided.
Choose either:
- "None" – A graph will appear for each gender you have selected.
- "Location" – A graph is displayed for each location you have selected. With this option, you can compare different locations. Select a minimum of two locations with this option.
- "Batch" – A graph is displayed for each batch you have selected. Here you can also compare the key figure by selecting at least two batches.
- "Weeks" – A graph is displayed for each week in the selected period. With this you can see if the weight varies between weeks.
Select which genders you would like to see the weight of:
Finally, you can also insert minimum and maximum values. When doing so, vertical lines appear on the graph indicating the range. With these lines, you can determine if the weight is within the desired range.
The vertical lines only have a graphical location. Start by entering the maximum values and then the minimum values. The solid lines are "Min" and "Max." and the dotted lines are "Alt. Min" and "Alt. Max".
If you want to save this analysis for later use, you can choose to copy and create your own layout. Finish by pressing "Enter" on the keyboard.
