You get the error message because the days from service to farrowing is outside the breeding company's approved gestation period for allowing piglets to be tagged for breeding. The normal gestation period that is valid is between 110 days and 122 days.
In PigVision the gestation period validation is standard set to period between 100 and 125 days, with a soft warning between 107 and 123 days.
This also means that you are warned that the farrowing is outside the soft validation but within the hard validation, allowing you to answer “yes” to the farrow date.
However, if breeding progeny are to be tagged then the program will react with a warning “No matching service found”.
So, if both service and farrowing are correct then you can’t create breeding progeny on the litter.
