Productive feeding days are feeding days counted from:
- Served to Farrowing
- Served to sold pregnant
- Farrowing to Weaning
- Flex weaning¹ until Weaning*
*When a sow has some piglets weaned but is retained to foster more piglets it is possible to register this. In the Sows/Boars-Weaning data entry screen, enter the initial weaning as normal and then place a tick in the Nursing sow column and enter the number of piglets fostered onto her into the Transferred Piglets column. When the sow is weaned for a second time, register her as you would for a standard weaning. You can now go on to serve or cull her.
