The effect on the litter based on the number of days from weaning and until service, is easily displayed in an effect analysis in PigVision.
Go to "Analysis sows" - Effect analysis" "PigVision" - "Service" - "Days to 1st service"
If it is your first time using this analysis there are some standard groups. Those can be removed by clicking on them and then on "Edit"
Click on the groups each at a time and then on "Remove". Continue like this until there is none left.
In the tab "Animals" - "Last status event" you should find "Litter no" and double click on it.
In the tab "Service" find "Days from Weaning to Service", double click on it and the on "Ok"
When the analysis is calculated based on a certain period and a level is extended, you will see that the analysis shows all the interval of days within each litter.
If you wish to make your own interval on days after weaning, you must go to "Groups" - click on "Days from Weaning to Service" - "Options".
Now put in the intervals you want to look at and then click "Ok". In this example the interval from 7-15 days after weaning is used - these can always be changed.
Choose the period you want to see the effect of service x-amount of days after weaning on litter no. level and click on "Calculate". In this case the period chosen is "Last 26 weeks"
Now you have the analysis.
If you want to look further into the data you can expand the columns by clicking "+" in the column "Open"
If you want to change the criteria on littler number, you can use the same procedure as when changing the interval on "Days from Weaning to Service".
