When vaccinating it is typically many sows. To easily register all in one action, you can do this in two ways:
- Set up a filter in "All farm animals"
- Add selected sows to "My worklist"
1. Set up a filter "All farm animals"
Go to "All farm animals" and click on the "No filter"-icon to the left top.
Set up a filter that matches the state of the sows for vaccination. In the example below the filter for "Sow state" is set to "Pregnant":
Also, filters for "Days after action" are set to "Service" and 85-90 as minimum and maximum days after service. Click "Apply and filter" when done.
Now you have a list of sows that fulfill the criteria, you set up in the filter. The list can be sorted by:
- Animal number (Standard)
- Location (see example below)
Click "Select" to select sows for vaccination. When you have selected the sows you want to register vaccination for, click "Enter X animals" below.
In "Select an action", click on "Treatment".
Select the vaccine from journals and choose a date. Click "Save treatment" when done.
Now the selected sows from the list are treated with vaccine.
Be aware of that the sows do not disappear from the list before the days of the criteria has expired. If you want a list where the sows disappear when register, see below.
2. Add selected sows to "My worklist"
In "My worklist" you can add animals to the list by typing the sow number, scanning a QR-code or using a scanner for electronic earmarks.
When you have added the sows to your worklist they remain on the list, until you take action.
After adding sows to the list, click "Register X animals" below.
In "Select an action" click "Treatment" to register vaccination for the selected sows.
Select the vaccine from journals and choose a date. Click "Save treatment" when done.
Now the selected sows from the list are treated with vaccine and the sows are removed from your worklist.
